These Terms govern your use of Prep2Eat. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Prep2Eat. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't upload content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Don't use the service to generate content that violates OpenAI's usage policies.
• Don't attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
• Don't impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

4. AI-generated content disclaimer

Prep2Eat is not a medical or nutritional service. Recipes and answers generated by the AI assistant are suggestions only. They are not medical, dietary, or allergen advice. Always verify ingredients for allergens, dietary restrictions, and safety before cooking or consuming. Consult a qualified professional for medical or nutritional decisions.

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for evaluating recipes and preparation steps before use.

5. User content and sharing

You retain ownership of the recipes and plans you create. By using share links, you make those specific items accessible to anyone with the link. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you and the people you share with.

6. Intellectual property

The Prep2Eat name, logo, and software are ours. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Termination

You can stop using Prep2Eat any time by deleting your account from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or pose a security risk.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prep2Eat will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Prep2Eat is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
